We have a Bible hour for all ages at 10:45.
Our AWANA and Youth Group meets Sunday’s at 1:30 September-April with holiday breaks. We have finished our season for 2018-2019.
We have Faith Connections on Wednesday evening at 6:30 when we gather for prayer and then have a short Scripture study together. We will study Genesis 1 “One Supreme Being” this week.

Men of Faith Men of all ages are invited for breakfast and Bible study Saturday April 20 at 7:00 a.m. in our lower level fellowship hall.
Resurrection Sunday April 21st There will be no Bible Hour or afternoon ministries. Please sign-up at the information center to bring items for our 8:15 breakfast before our 9:30 worship service. Please see Bethany if you have any questions.
Milestones Sunday April 28th Please prepare a main dish along with a side dish for our fellowship meal. We will be celebrating our graduates, AWANA accomplishments, youth group news, and significant birthdays and anniversaries during the Bible hour and have lunch following. Dessert will be provided

Make it a Date: May 12th Brass, strings and singing will fill the air on Mother’s Day evening at 6:30 p.m. with a musical concert from the Praisemen of Maranatha University. Please come and enjoy the evening with pie and cheese cake fellowship time to follow.
Marriage Minute 4-14-2019
Honor, respect your husband.
In Esther 1, we understand the position men have and that they are to be honored or respected by their wives.
Esther 1:16-20 “And Memucan answered before the king and the princes: “Queen Vashti has not only wronged the king, but also all the princes, and all the people who are in all the provinces of King Ahasuerus. For the queen’s behavior will become known to all women, so that they will despise their husbands in their eyes, when they report, ‘King Ahasuerus commanded Queen Vashti to be brought in before him, but she did not come.’ This very day the noble ladies of Persia and Media will say to all the king’s officials that they have heard of the behavior of the queen. Thus, there will be excessive contempt and wrath. If it pleases the king, let a royal decree go out from him, and let it be recorded in the laws of the Persians and the Medes, so that it will not be altered, that Vashti shall come no more before King Ahasuerus; and let the king give her royal position to another who is better than she. When the king’s decree which he will make is proclaimed throughout all his empire (for it is great), all wives will honor their husbands, both great and small.”
Memucan was one of the king’s wise men, who knew Gods design of order. Family, society, government, churches, are built or destroyed on honor/respect. In today’s society, you don’t have to look far to see contempt for the male gender, or the lack of respect for Gods design for order.
Men are ordained to be the head by God and that also conveys that respect is due.
Ephesians 5:33 Nevertheless let each one of you in particular so love his own wife as himself, and let the wife see that she respects her husband.
